About St.
Peter's Episcopal Church
Saint
Peter's is a diverse congregation that welcomes all people, regardless
of where they are on their spiritual journey. The congregation is an
inclusive mix of progressive Christians, middle-of-the-roaders and
traditional Anglo Catholics who come together at two services on Sunday
mornings to worship God through the Book of Common Prayer.
Several characteristics confirm the vitality of the congregation:
|
|
|
- |
An active Education for
Ministry Group, a multi-year program of Bible & historical, theological
study.
|
| - |
Strong outreach
ministries, including a toy lending library and a feeding program with
the cooperation of other religious bodies in town.
|
| - |
Lay led discussion forums
focusing on various aspects of Christian formation.
|
| - |
A recently completed
major renovation and expansion of facilities (3/4 of a million dollars),
raised through the congregation.

| Please join
us at 8 AM or 10:30 AM (10 AM in the Summer)
and 7 AM Wednesdays for celebrations of
the Holy Eucharist. The symbolism we believe is that Christ is in
our midst at the altar, and Christ welcomes all people, regardless of
where they are on their pilgrimage. |
